This luxury townhouse is located between two world-class resorts. Mauna Lani Bay and the Fairmont Orchid (Many of our guests have chosen to conveniently stay at our Villa when they were on island to attend destination weddings at these two locations.) Each of these resorts is perched on one of the MOST beautiful beaches in the world, with white sand, clear blue water and the best weather Mother Nature can offer.
This finely-decorated, spacious 1,600 square foot Fairways at Mauna Lani Villa 206 has an attached car park and is furnished in an Asian, island motif and equipped with everything you'll need so you can enjoy your vacation with the comforts of home : fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, comfortable tropical furnishings and decor, quality linens, and up-to-date technology: such as two LCD televisions and DVD Blu Ray players, digital cable with more than 300 channels, multiple stereo systems to listen to your soothing island music, phone (free calls to Hawaii, U.S. and Canada) and free wireless fiber optic high-speed internet access. Kitchen and bathrooms boast of granite counter tops and the finest finishes.
If you would rather enjoy the tropical breeze while cooking, you will find a state of the art 'Viking' outdoor barbeque grill in your very own private and lush backyard. Here you can cook your catch of the day or try the delicious Kona beef. Also outside, on the lanai, there is a covered eating area, prep sink and bar, stereo and a beautiful relaxing Balinese couch. We also have 2 bikes and helmets, a collection of board games for all ages, a DVD collection and smart TV's for streaming available in the Villa.
Upstairs is the master suite with a king size bed, a huge, plush, well lit Master Bath, as well as another private lanai which is perfect for enjoying your morning Kona coffee. The lower level has an easily accessible guest bedroom. Both bedrooms are spacious and have their own connecting bathrooms. The beds are plush and comfortable so you'll be rested and refreshed to begin each day. The Villa has its own full size washer and dryer. It is fully air conditioned but often the cool, calming breezes or ceiling fans are enough for a comfortable rest. Of course, since this is a townhome and an end unit, there is no noise from above and fewer neighbors (and more windows) to the side.
Our home is very close to the complex's oversized swimming pool surrounded by landscaped park, lava rock waterfall, hot tub, wading pool for young children, and fitness center. In addition, guests have access to wonderful and exclusive Mauna Lani Resort's Beach Club. The private Mauna Lani Beach Club is on a protected bay with white sand and coconut palms. It is a great place to relax and boasts of world class snorkeling (all ocean gear can be rented seaside, but turtles are free.) You can enjoy lunch or dinner at the Beach Club Restaurant and Bar, go for a sail, or merely walk along beautifully restored, historic Hawaiian fishing trails around the oceanfront ponds and ancient petroglyphs. All the while, enjoying the view of our migrating whales spouting and swimming underneath the fantastic sunsets.
In addition to the easy walk to the beach, there are a dozen dining opportunities a short stroll or bike ride away. No need to drive! Choices range from Tommy Bahamas, Ruth Chris and Brown's Beach House to Sushi, Mexican and Thai. There is also a nearby coffee shop where you may satisfy your caffeine fix, grab a breakfast to go or an afternoon drink smoothie. Want to enjoy your gourmet kitchen or grill in private? Then the upscale Foodland Gourmet Market and Deli will satisfy all of your needs.
The Villa is only a five-minute drive to six award winning golf courses and the best sandy and protected beaches in Hawaii. Hapuna has-been voted "Best Big Islands Beach" It also only a five-minute drive to the varied shopping and dining experience offered at the Waikoloa Beach Resort: The King's Shops includes many more upscale shopping, art galleries and restaurants, and next door is the Queen's Marketplace - a family friendly shopping, dining and entertainment complex. If you venture farther, there are scenic drives and many adventures to share and, when you return, there is a private car park entry which makes it easy to unload and relax.
